Superman: The Obesity Years

No one talks about the years after the tragedy in the pie factory. When Lois Lane was buried alive by 100 tons of uncooked Ginster's Pasties in a freak accident, even Superman's capacious appetite wasn't up to the task. Despite eating over 10,000 pasties and the help of hundreds of volunteer pie munchers, Superman could not save Lois. It was only years later, after his very public heart attack, that Superman was able to shed the excess weight.
